Slot Racing is Fun!  -  But achieving a track which can be assembled in less that 45 minutes, which is smooth and has the electrical continuity to provide faultless racing can be a challenge!
AB Slotsport and Max Tracks have devised a system which fulfils all the criteria for this type of application.
The track is designed in easy to handle module sizes with integral barriers and  6 lanes.
Each section is pre-wired, requiring just one plug to ensure all electrical connections.
Each section locates to the next with a simple preformed joint to ensure alignment and 2 heavy duty over-centre clips to hold the joint together efficiently and quickly.
The sections are designed to sit on inexpensive folding trestles or existing tables.
With practice even the longest track can be assembled in under 45 minutes.

Modules are made from prime quality MDF board, cut and routed to shape. The Barriers are keyed to the track edges and glued / screwed / power nailed into position, forming a stable track module. All modules are trial fitted together and the track assembled and checked prior to spraying. The finished track is then braided and wired.

The simple, self aligning jointing system ensures a quick and easy ‘correct fit’ every time. Each module is a maximum of 8’ in length.

The track braid used in these projects is called ‘magnabraid’, which is a plated steel / copper composite and allows the use of cars with traction magnets to enhance the cars handling characteristics. Each section is individually braided. The ends of the braids are passed between the jointer and track surface and connected under the track surface to a 7 way Plug / socket which ensures a rugged and reliable electrical connection every time.
Tracks can be designed to almost any length and configuration, according to clients requirements.
Driver rostrums may be integral to the track or free standing. Free standing units are pre-wired with plug-Ins.
A full range of accessories including pre wired hand controllers, digital lap counters, race controllers, timers, track power supplies and computer race control systems are available according to clients specification and requirements.
Specialist “Rental Cars” are also available with spring steel chassis and lexan bodies, ensuring a far longer service life for corporate customers than the traditional “Plastic” cars.
