AB MAGNA-BRAID
Ideal for braiding MDF & wood “Scalex” type tracks where racers want to run magnets. Magna-Braid is a copper coated steel braid giving approx 65% of the magnetic attractance of a conventional “Scalex” type steel rail.
Rated at 30 amps the need for power shunts is obviated on most tracks.
Magna-Braid is 0.250” wide. For best performance Magna-Braid height should ideally be flush or + or – 0.005”.
Magna-braid should be bonded to the track surface with a Contact type adhesive, follow manufacturers instructions. Always apply glue to a sealed surface. Magnabraid is simple to lay and holds curvature well during the curing process.

Also available in 3/16” width for Scalextric racing, this braid has less magnetic attractance than the 1/4” but is ideal for scalex type tracks with tighter radius corners and racers wishing less “magnetic downforce” Price £478.50 per 1000ft. coil
