JK Products have been by far the most innovative and prolific Production Chassis manufacturer in the last few years, literally “breaking the mould” of 1/24th scale production chassis design.
The “X” range of chassis are “two piece chassis” that is to say the chassis comprises of a centre section and a pan section..
The X 24 & X 25 chassis also come complete with a small motor brace which solders into the rear of the chassis as an accurate fix for the rear of the motor can.
So now we look at the 3 different types available.

The X24 is the original chassis of the series made in 0.8mm stainless steel. Light and flexible, the chassis has great handling. Front axle location is designed for 1/2” front wheels.
The rear pillar blocks will accommodate either 5 x 2mm or 3/16” x 3/32” bushings.

The X25 has been designed to fit the ISRA specifications & is therefore slightly shorter, making it more ideal for European type saloon bodies. Made in 0.9mm stainless steel, the chassis is a little more rigid than the X24 and also features locations for 1/2” & 5/8” front wheels and a stronger, radially pressed guide plate.

The X21 chassis is the latest version of the chassis, primarily designed for ready to run cars & featuring a “screw in” motor bracket. The motor in this version sits above the chassis as opposed to the cut out motor box of the X24 & X25. This also enhances the strength of the chassis for novice racing. The X21 is again made from 0.9mm stainless steel & has a dimension of 125mm between the rear axle centre and the Guide centre, being the same dimension as the original X24 chassis. The rear pillar blocks are designed for 3/16” x 3/32” bushings.
All 3 chassis are generally available ex stock from AB Slotsport. Current price for all the versions is the same @ £19.40.
