HOOK UP
The Controller is for use on positive regulated tracks only. Verify the polarity of the track prior to use, do not attempt to connect the controller to a negatively regulated track or to Drag or HO tracks.
All power leads must be connected to the correct coloured terminals, Failure to do so may cause tripping of any of a number of re-settable fuses and reduce the life of the Controller.
When connecting the power leads, Always connect the Red power lead First! The Red lead must remain connected at all times. In the event the lead is not hooked up, the Controller will supply full power and the car will take off.
OPERATION
The blue knob is the Sensitivity adjustment. Turn the knob counter-clockwise for less sensitivity, and clockwise for greater sensitivity.
The Sensitivity Select slide switch sets the difference in adjustment range of the Blue Sensitivity adjust Knob. The Lo (back) position is for Flat Track use and adjusts for very low to mid range. The Hi (forward) position is for Wing car/Speedway use and adjusts from mid range to near ¾ throttle.
The red knob is the Brake adjustment. Turn the knob counter-clockwise for minimum brake and clockwise for maximum brake.
The red “Mush” Button located on the side of the handle when pressed, decreases the Sensitivity to minimum regardless of the sensitivity setting to allow cars to roll through glue.
The BI Color LED is located on top of the Power Box. Red- When the trigger is released indicates the brake is active (not the amount of braking) and Green LED indicates the throttle level when the trigger is pulled. When at full throttle the Green LED will greatly intensify indicating Clicker Activation.
Verify the Controller has power by the Red (Brake) LED on when the trigger is released and the on and the Green (throttle) LED comes on when the trigger is pulled. If the unit is so equipped, the Track volt meter will ready (accurately) the track voltage when at the brake position.
Place the car on the track. While driving the car, adjust the Brake and Sensitivity to the desired settings.
