GREAT NEW Scratch building bracket Now Available!

Here’s a REAL Smart Micro Motor bracket for scratch builders wanting to build compact chassis for 1/32 scale cars (especially narrow cars like 1.5 Litre Formula cars). The bracket is the same width as the Beardog and “Slimline Scalectric motors” and drilled for screw fit of these motors. Axle hole is 3/16” so will accommodate standard oilites or ballraces.
And now for the clever bit!  The Axle support arms may be flipped to give two different applications
1) Build as standard for normal Inline crown gears, or
2) Flip the axle supports and build it to utilise the new “Offset” gears from Slot-it, which allow the rear axle to be 1mm above the centreline of the motor shaft and give lower ground clearance with bigger wheeled cars.

Either way you configure this bracket, it will accomodate a 16g brass or piano wire rail neatly under the axle supports, making chassis building a snip!
